In partnership with and support of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), UP established Technology Business Incubation (TBI) facilities in its campuses to generate new knowledge and technologies, promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and develop human resources for science and technology.
TBI common facilities are:
- Furnished office space
- Hi-speed internet access
- Conference room
- Training room
- Storage room
TBI offers basic services such as:
- Mentoring from successful entrepreneurs
- Access to laboratories and related facilities
- Services of support staff and consultants

UPSCALE Innovation Hub is a venue for industry-academe-government collaboration in UP System and other universities. It houses these three (3) programs wherein customer discovery principles are applied to progress the technology cases and startup ventures:
- Industry-Government Network for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (IGNITE)
- UP Enterprise (startup incubator and accelerator); and
- EntreLead (incubator for more advanced startups)
